Meta Daten in Captivate 4
Möchten Sie bestimmte Meta-Daten immer wieder in Ihren veröffentlichen Captivate Projekten haben? Dann müssen Sie den Autor, die Beschreibung oder die Hintergrundfarbe der HTML Datei nicht jedes mal neu definieren.
Ändern Sie einfach die HTML Datei, die Captivate als Vorlage benutzt!
Meta Daten
Do you want to have the determined meta-data in your published captivate project? Then you do not have every time to define the author the discription or background color of HTML Data. You should change the HTML data, which is used by Captivate as template.
Under Adobe\Adobe Captivate 4\Templates\Publish you will find the data file standard.html. This is a template, which you can open and change. There is also other files (SCORM etc.) in this folder. Here you can also make changes. But I recommend you to make a backup of original file in order to prevent any problems.
What shall I do if the color is faintness (unclear) after the powerpoint installation?
Sometimes the color in captivate publishing is not the same or even can be faint after importing of powerpoint slides in captivate. It means, for example, that you had at your imported foil the orange color (as well as in original power point), but as soon as you publish the foil, you get another colour.

Manchmal kommt es beim Import von Powerpoint Slides in Captivate zu Farbschwächen nach dem Publizieren. D.h. Sie haben auf Ihrer importierten Folie das ursprüngliche Orange (wie auch auf der Orginalpowerpoint), aber kaum haben Sie die Folien publiziert, erscheint im Ausgabenfile anstelle von Orange ein leuchtendes Türkis.

Schwierigkeiten mit der TAB - Taste ?
Captivate hat die eigentlich ganz praktische Funktion, dass jede beliebige Taste zum Bestätigen einer Text Entry Box verwendet werden kann. Das hat in der Theorie einen Vorteil. So kann z.b. die realistische Dateneingabesituation mit Drücken der ENTER - Taste geübt werden. In diesem Falle klappt das wunderbar, aber bei einer Taste kann es zu Schwierigkeiten kommen.

Captivate has a practical funktion, that you can use any button in order to affirm a text entry box. It has an advantage in the theory. For instance, you can practice the real data input situation with enter-taste. In this case it works very good, but with one button it can lead to difficulties.

Voreinstellungen
Unter Bearbeiten --> Voreinstellungen --> Standardwerte können Sie einige einfache, aber oft sehr wichtigen Einstellungen setzen, die in der Postproduktion sehr viel Zeit sparen können.
Foliendauer: Standardmäßig 3 Sekunden, häufig werden aber andere Zeiten gebraucht.
Vorschau: Wieviele Folien wollen Sie im Vorschaumodus sehen?
Standardeinstellungen für Objekt: Je nach Projekt kann man zwischen Textbeschriftung (Standard), Rollovers, Klickfelder etc. wählen und auch die Anzeigedauer einstellen.

Under edit --> presetting --> standard values, you can make the simple and important settings, that can help you to save time.
Foil duration: standard 3 seconds, very often another time is used.
Preview: How many foils do you want to see in preview modus?
Standard settings for object: It depends on project, you can choose text inscription (standard), rollovers, click areas and set also the duration of display.
Powerpoints schnell in Captivate integrieren
Eine wichtige Funktion bei Captivate ist das Importieren und Verarbeiten von Powerpoint - Slides. Gerade bei Rapid E-Learning ist es enorm wichtig, Elemente aus anderen Tools (z.b. Powerpoint oder Adobe Photoshop) ohne Einschränkungen in Captivate einbauen zu können.

An important function of Captivate is importing and reworking of power point slides. Exactly for Rapid E-Learning it is very important to import very fast different elements from the other tools (such as Powerpoint or Adobe Photoshop) without restrictions in Captivate.
